Privacy Settings

What is the Privacy setting?

An organisation can set itself as Private so that users, teams, leaderboards and pledges will only be visible to users who are a member of that organisation, and are logged into their Do Nation account.

Organisations can only be switched to Private by their organisation admins.

It is available for all Plus subscriptions and on our 2-week free trial!

How do you enable the Privacy setting?

This is only available to users who have been added as an admin to your organisation.

  1. Make sure you've logged into your account first.
  2. Navigate to your organisation page.
  3. On the left hand panel, towards the bottom, click ‘edit organisation.’
  4. Here you will find ‘Privacy Settings,’ click the toggle if you would like to switch your privacy setting.
  5. Save your changes by scrolling down and clicking the green ‘update’ button.
  6. All organisation admins will receive an email to let them know that your organisation's privacy setting has changed.

Why have I received an email about my Privacy changing?

All organisation admins receive a notification via email when this setting has been updated for security purposes.

How does this impact people pledging to my programme?

Users need to check they are logged in before making a pledge, or viewing your organisation page.
